pleasant owners, very good food, good parking. a comfortable nights stay.
Excellent value, clean, quiet, comfortable, food very well cooked and good value. Staff brilliant, friendly and welcoming,
The only issue was the shower pressure, if that had been better you could not have faulted this excellent Inn ,
room was run down and tired, bulbs missing, not clean.Carpets dirty, clothes in the wardrobe.
everything good including the orice
Clean and functional;everything worked.Breakfast was superb! Friendly staff
Noisy due to the layout of the building E.G. doors banging when being closed and decor was tired; but for the money I would use it again.
Good food, nice staff, clean room
The shower room - bit on the small side and shower was not very good
Lack of Central Heating (approx 2 hours per day)
To be honest, not very much! Breakfast was alright, and I did have a good nights sleep.
The fly problem-about 10 flys in the lobby/stair area. The smell-don't know it it's drain problems or what, but not very pleasant. The shower had a pubic hair in it. The shower was tiny and probably the least powerful shower I've ever had. The fact that I felt uncomfortable/slightly intimidated when checking in at the run down bar area, being stared at by everyone in there! The mess outside as you pull into the car park. This place needs a drastic makeover!
The food was good.
Worst shower I have had the misfortune to use. Parts of the floor hadn't been vacuumed and there was rubbish under the bed. Did not think it was good value at all.
breakfast and 50 inch olympic tv in bedroom!
circulation and bar areas tired need an upgrade when affordable
The breakfast was very good and the room comfortable and quiet
Location really and finding the place from the map!
Had a good weekend at the Albert. Friendly staff and good food. The Albert was central for visiting Inverness and the Black Isle and round about Forres and Elgin
This Inn is in a great location, just a few minutes walk to the lovely stretch of beach, which is breathtaking. Near High Street etc. About 5 min walk to Harbour. Lovely food served in the bar and the cooked breakfasts were great too. Overall we enjoyed our stay but dont expect too much from The Albert Inn. A cheap budget B&B that did the job fine.
The rooms are above a pub, which could get quite noisy at the weekend. This didn't really bother us as we were out and about a lot and didn't spend a great amount of time in the room. The place is also a bit tired and run down looking and the rooms could be doing with a sprucing up. Saying this our room and en-suite were clean.
We checked in 6.30pm. First impression was not good, cigarert ends around the main door never cleaned up. Our room was not clean, could write my name in the dust on theTV glasses in the toilet were not clean, two news papers left in room dated3/7/12. We had meal out and returned to Hotel around 10.00pm to a 21st party in full swing, the noise in our bedroom wes terrible and the guests were smoked in the yard below our window ans the language was choice!!!!! The only good thing that came out of it was that after I made a complaint the owner found us alternative accommodation in Nairn, which was 100% better and cheaper. I work part time for Visit Scotland and am glad they are not on our books I would hate a visitor to be subjected to that standard of accommodation.
The checking out was the best bit of all!!!
Excellent vfm for overnight stay. Evening meal and breakfast excellent quality. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommended.
Tv and WiFi temporarily not working due to storm damage in the town.
